Freebie Friday

It's Friday again!  And, the sun is shining.  I'm tickled pink that I can hang wash on the line today.  It's been a long, cold winter in upstate NY.  Hopefully it won't be long before we can hit the sandy beaches.

Today's Freebie Friday special is...

Stampapolooza...purchase any two stamp sets and get one of equal or lesser value FREE!  For example, buy any two D sets of stamps ($17.95 sets) and choose any one A ($6.95), B ($9.95), C ($13.95) or D ($17.95) free.  No limit!

View Idea Book or visit my website to see all the fantastic stamp sets. You may either email your order to me, or place your order via my website and email me your choice of free stamp.  Don't forget, if your order is $150 or more, you need to email it to me to get hostess rewards.

Have a wonderful day!

Artbooking Made Easy

I love all these short videos showing highlights of the Artbooking Cricut cartridge!

Have you tried the friendship-themed keys of the Cricut® Artbooking cartridge, found on pages 78 and 79 of your booklet. Your layouts will shout in celebration of your cherished relationships! With your own ingenuity, you can use these cuts over and over again in creative ways so no two layouts look alike. For more inspiration on how to use these keys, watch the video!

Would you like to get the Artbooking cartridge for free?  How, you ask?  Just join my team, the Inky Fingers Gang, in April and you can choose the Artbooking cartridge or Art Philosophy or Artiste cartridge.

Check out the fabulous New Consultant Kit.

For only $99, you get a kit valued at $300, plus a $99 cartridge, and if you hit your Straight to the Top, you'll get the $99 back that you paid for your kit!  You can't go wrong!

Whether you join to build a business or for the discount, you have a place on my team.  Plus, I've started a new rewards program for my downline.  If you have any questions, just shoot me an email.  Ready to sign up?  CLICK HERE to reach the application.

What's on your Bucket List?

Do you have a bucket list?  I never really did until the last few years.  I still have more places that I would like to visit.  Top of my list is to go back to Paris, as we only had a day there and there is just too much to see in a day.  I'd also love to get back to Rome.  While there we got a quick tour of The Vatican and saw it through the camera lens.  We did not see the Sistine Chapel, so I need to go back to see them.

I also have on my list: Moscow, Istanbul and Wales.  I have a cousin who lives in Moscow with his family.

Who wouldn't want to see these fabulous places in person.  Aren't these buildings absolutely gorgeous?!

For some unexplained reason, I want to see the Taj Mahal.  Don't ask me why!

My Mom was Welsh, so I've always been interested in going to Wales.  In the little town in VT where I grew up, there's a Welsh room in the College.  Many extended cousins have traveled here to visit.

Now, a few things that could be easier to attain.  I'd like to do a 5K, but, I guess that means I need to start running.  LOL's a few more

  • Re-learn French and use it in Paris
  • Have six pack abs....I think I should have done this at a younger age. :)
  • Learn to Ballroom Dance
  • See a New England Patriots game at Gillette Stadium
  • Cruise The Nile
  • Ride a Gondola in Venice
  • See the Northern Lights
  • Win the lottery for more than $20 (Guess I need to play it to win it)
  • Visit the Grand Old Opry
While working on my list, I perused other lists and it was fun to see things on their lists that I have already done.  For instance:
  • Drive a golf cart...done...we use one to get around the farm
  • Visit of the most amazing things I saw in 2008
  • Ride Horseback...have ridden since I was a kid
  • Snow ski...did in my younger sure I'd break something if I did it now!
  • Water ski...did many years ago and loved it
So...what's on your bucket list?  Brush off your list, post in the comments, then head over to Jeanette Lynton's blog and let her know.  Someone will win the materials to make a CTMH Base & Bling accessory.

Magic Monday

Happy Monday!  I have a fun layout to post today.  It was created via Studio J using Close to My Hearts Laughing Lola paper.  As a kid, one of my favorite colors was purple.  I loved this paper as soon as I saw it.

I used some of the matching My Complements for embellishment.  This paper will be retiring soon.  I need to stock up!

This and That

Just some random postings today.  :)

I was able to finish these two American Girl knit items, finally!  I'm trying to use my wrist as much as I can, but I tried to knit and crochet yesterday and it was a killer, so I think it's going to be a little while until I can do it comfortably.  But, I was able to finish the last sleeve on the green sweater and weave the ends.  It's a really soft, fluffy yarn that's green but has some black flecks through it.  I will be pairing it with a pair of black jeans. The hat and the mobius will go with either a cranberry or turquoise coat.  They were knitted with yarn left over from a hat I did for one of my granddaughters.  I didn't have a pattern for them but just did them in basket weave, knit four, purl four.

I'm excited to announce that I just joined Origami Owl!  I thought it would be fun to reward my CTMH team members with charms that they can earn for different sales levels, recruiting, etc.  With the new CTMH sign on special for April, it's a great time to start.  Plus, they have a London phone booth that is retiring and we all know that my Cruisin' Buddy and I need everything that represents the fabulous London/Paris and Mediterranean we took back in 2008.  I can't believe it was that long ago!

Last Sunday I perused Facebook and found a few of my old high school friends.   Don't you just love this new, modern technology?!  I found a friend that I've wondered where she ended up after college.  Anybody that I ask didn't know either.  While it appears she doesn't use her FB, at least I know where she is (or where she was a couple of years ago)  LOL

Well, it's time to run.  The kid has been away for the weekend and I need to pick him up.  Be sure to stop by tomorrow as I'll be posting a new layout for Magic Monday.
