Stamp a Stack Club Cards

These are the cards for the May Stamp a Stack Club.  Each card is an original created by me :)

The main stamp set used for this club was D1514 Just a Number. I love the sayings in this set.  Also, we used stamp sets from D1504 Fashionista, C1499 Perfect Day, and C1467 Sweet Moments.  The papers came from X7149B Lucy My Reflections Kit and also the retired paper packet called Sweet Home.

If you'd like to join our Stamp a Stack Club, it's only $27 a month (includes postage to you).  In the club you will receive the stamp set, papers, and all the embellishments used to create the cards.  After a year, you will also receive a free My Acrylix Stamp Organizer.  If you would like to join us, drop me an email.

Create a Card

This week's card was created using Close To My Heart's Lucy papers.  Also used was D1514 Just a Number stamp set. I love the sayings in this stamp set!  The rose was created using the Close To My Heart Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge.

Here's the cutting instructions for the card:

4 ¼” x 5 ½” side fold card base

4 ¼” x 5 ½” Cotton Candy card stock
3 ¾” x 5” Cotton Candy card stock
4” x 5 ¼” Pear card stock
3 ¼” x 4” Lucy Floral B&T

Stamp sentiment with Cotton Candy ink on Colonial White piece.  Attach to Pear piece.
Cut a V out of the bottom of the Lucy Floral B&T and attach to Cotton Candy card stock
Attach Cotton Candy card stock to Pear card stock and then to larger Cotton Candy card stock  piece.
Attach ribbon across card front at center.  Cut another piece of ribbon and tie a bow around the centered ribbon.
Attach matted sentiment with foam dots.  Ink edges of rose with Cotton Candy ink.  Bend the two Pear leaf petals down center to give shape.  Attach the leaves directly to the card front.  Attach the rose on the matted sentiment piece.

Here's how to create the rose:

 1.  Remove waste from flower

2. Begin rolling the outer end around your paper piercer or other small item. Continue rolling until the whole flower is rolled

 3. Here you can see it rolled up with the base left unrolled.  You will then let it loose so that it will unroll until you like appearance.

4. Put a dab of Liquid Glass on the base and attach the rolled rose.  Hold in place until it’s dry.

½” x 3 ¾” Colonial White card stock
