29 Layouts in 29 Days - Day 4

Living out in the country affords us the joy of all types of birds.  If you're not familiar with the Killdeer (the birds in the two pictures on the left page), they are so fun to watch.  You can almost walk up to them before they take off running.  You rarely see them fly away.  When they're sitting on the ground, like they are in the top picture, it's because they've laid their eggs on the ground and are sitting on them to protect them.  Nothing like laying them right where we drive though.  LOL!!

We have a resident hawk...well, two actually.  They've been here for a number of years.

This layout was done in Studio J using the retired Back Country My Reflections Kit.

29 Layouts in 29 Days - Day 3

Today is Day 3.  For this layout, I used the new My Reflections Kit X7154B Cruisin' and the "members only" layout called Photo Booth.   Even if you're not into digital scrapbooking, you can use Studio J to map out your layout, and create using your paper packet without making any unnecessary cuts.

29 Layouts in 29 Days - Day 2

Today's layout is created with an exclusive My Reflections Kit that is a "Members Only" kit available through Studio J.  It's called "Take the Cake".

29 Layouts in 29 Days - Day 1

It's a new month!  And, it's Leap Year!  So, I've decided to challenge myself to do 29 Studio J layouts in 29 days.  Fun!!

Here's day number 1.  For this layout, I used  the retired Game On My Reflections Kits (gotta love that the older paper packs are still available through Studio J!)

December Club projects

For December, we used X7146B Wonderland My Reflections kit. Since not everybody lives where there's snow, I wanted to create a layout that was wintery, and then one that would be something totally different from the usual winter layout.

So, this is the layout I came up with.  The large snowflake and dot papers came from the Wonderland kit, and the small bamboo flower paper came from a previous My Reflections kit called Bliss.  I loved the Bliss papers!

For our Stamp a Stack club, we used C1468 Winter Joy, along with the same Wonderland papers.

The snowflakes were cut from the Close To My Heart Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge.

Our new scrap club starts in February with layouts done from the Magic Idea Book. There's always openings in both the scrap club and the Stamp a Stack club.  Email me if you'd like any details.

Win a Studio J Membership!

How would you like to win a 3 month membership to Studio J?  "What's Studio J", you asked?  It is just about the easiest digital scrapbooking program around!  It uses the wonderful papers from Close To My Heart, and sketches from all four of Close To My Heart's How-To books.  As a member, you'll have access to "members only" papers and layouts along with all the others!

How pretty is this layout?!  This is a "members only" layout called Performance.  What's really cool is, the pages have been swapped in that the left page is really the right page in the layout, and all you have to do is click in one spot to swap the sides.  Also, you can rotate each page all the way to create even more layouts.

So, if you'd like your chance to win a 3 month Studio J membership, simply leave me a comment and become a follower of my blog by the end of today and you'll be in for the drawing.  I'll be announcing the winner tomorrow, January 10.
