May Cherish and Imagine Club projects

I'm loving the papers in the new CTMH Summer Idea Book! Our Imagine Club will be creating these layouts with X7112B Animal Cookies. What fun paper this is! Great for those birthday photos or to make birthday cards.

Our Cherish Club is using X7114B Bella to create these cute layouts. I had fun using my Cricut for these projects!

April Club Projects

These are the layouts we're doing with the Imagine Club. All products are Close To My Heart products. These were created using X7101B Magic Moments Level 2 My Reflections kit.

A couple of custom orders

Funny...in all the time I've been painting, I've not had a request for a chestnut horse. Then, last week I get requests for both a mailbox and a slate with a chestnut colored horse. I love how they turned out!

It's a Boy!

First foal of the season! Too cute! Evidently Red Eye Fix doesn't work on horses. :) He really does have an eye. LOL!

Long time no chat!

Wow! I didn't realize it had been so long since I posted. Where did March go? My cruisin' buddy came last week and spent a couple of days so that I could teach her how to scrapbook our photos. We had a ball! Chatted and scrapped for two whole days. What fun! She had picked up some great papers with the Eiffel Tower, Big Ben, the Rome Coliseum, and Barcelona. Now I realize how spoiled I am using our Close To My Heart products that all coordinate. I think we spent more time trying to find papers to go with these than it took to scrap the pics! I haven't had a chance to add my embellishments, but when I do, I'll be sure to post pictures.

I'll also be posting some pics of our March Stamp a Stack club, Cherish Club and Imagine club projects. I got a new computer (it's been sitting on the floor here for two weeks waiting for me to set it up!) I finally set it up today, but now need to transfer the stuff from the old one to the new one. Wonder how much less will end up on this one? LOL! I remember when I got the old one how few things I ended up installing that was on the previous one. So, this time will probably be even less. :)

My European Vacation

Sounds like a Chevy Chase movie, huh? LOL! I finally got a chance to scrap some of my vacation photos. I used the Close To My Heart Vintage Travel Level 2 Papers for these pages, the Memory Keeper box and also the Acrylic Album.

I also did this CTMH Memory Keeper box to keep all of the keepsakes in that don't fit in an album.

I love how this acrylic album turned out! I can pop it in my purse to carry with me. It has a page for each of the different cities that we visited.

February Club Artwork

February Stamp a Stack Artwork

Aren't these bunnies the cutest? These cards were created using B1324 Bunny Love and papers from X7108B Daydream and X7107B That's Amore paper packs.

My Second Favorite Bird

The cardinal is my second favorite bird...the hummingbird being my absolute favorite bird. :) We've had some gorgeous cardinals here this year. So, I whipped out my new camera to see how well it works. So...what do you think?

I already have a Nikon D50, but when Kim and I went to Europe, she brought along her new Canon Powershot SX100. You should have seen the shots she got! This Canon has a 10X optical zoon, so the shots were as close up as mine were when I put my 300mm lens on my Nikon. When I got home, I decided I had to get one of these great cameras to carry in my purse, as I hate to carry my big Nikon in the car with me daily for fear something will happen to it, or that it might be stolen. So, I've had the Canon for awhile now and decided to give it a try the other day when I saw the cardinal in the tree. Both of these photos were taken from inside my house through the window and screen, and across the driveway and side yard!! Amazing! BTW, I ended up with the Powershot SX110. I ordered the SX100 from Amazon, but they were out and sent me the new SX110 for the same price! Needless to say, Amazon gets my vote for a great company!
