Plane crashes at my daughter's house

Scary stuff! She has a farm near the local airport. Granted...it's not a big airport, but planes do fly over frequently. Anyway, a small plane just crashed through the fence of one of the paddocks. There were four horses in the paddock at the time. In this age of the internet, it only took maybe 1 hour for the news to hit the local newspaper. LOL!

The Post Star

The paper mentions that it didn't phase the three horses in the paddock. What they failed to mention was there were four horses turned out and one went over the fence. Thankfully, one of my granddaughters was able to catch that one and she's fine. Hopefully, she won't miscarry due to the fright.

I'm beginning to think she should move! Shortly after she purchased the house, a car flipped over and rolled down the hill into her front yard! And..they say things happen in threes....what's next?!

Studio J - WOW!!!

Wow is all I can say! I had played a little with it last month using my downline's access, but didn't upload photos as I didn't want to clog up her account. So, today is the first day for most of us to get to use it. It's absolutely amazing! Whether you are going to use it as a design tool or create your Studio Scrapbook pages and have them printed, you will be amazed! I've been scrapping our Mediterranean Cruise with Vintage Travel and know that I will definitely be creating some layouts to purchase as there's no way I'll ever get all the photos scrapped tradionally, but I wanted to try a different paper package today...just for the variety. Here's a quick layout that I did. Be sure to click on the picture for a better look.

December Club Projects

Boy...it's been crazy here since just after Christmas. I'm so behind with my updating!

The first sets of layouts were done using our new Studio J software. It is simply amazing! It's still in the testing phase for consultants, but should be released later this spring. I had so much fun designing the Imagine layouts below using our Majestic Blue My Reflections Kit.

Below are the layouts I created for the Cherish Club using the Jingle My Reflections Level 2 Kit. Fun!!

For our Stamp a Stack club, we used stamp set C1384 Neighborhood and papers from the Sweet Home and Good Times My Reflections Kits.

If you'd like to join any of our clubs, email me for all the details!

Happy New Year!

Did 2009 go by quickly or what?!! I can't believe it's 2010. It seems like just yesterday that we were all worrying about Y2K and if the computers would crash. Here we are 10 years later! Now I just need to remember to write the correct year in the checkbook! LOL!

Hope everybody has a healthy and Happy New Year!!

The Magic Fountain of Montjuic

Kim and I did some scrapping this week of our CTMH Mediterranean Cruise. The Magic Fountain in Barcelona was one of the most breathtaking things that we saw. We were tired that day (Saturday) as we had only gotten about 8 hrs. sleep since we left NY on Wednesday. We'd walked Las Ramblas on Saturday afternoon and had gone to see La Sagrada Familia church. We headed back to the hotel after seeing La Sagrada Familia to rest for a little bit. After sitting down it was all we could do to get going again. LOL! But, the Magic Fountain was within walking distance of the hotel, so off we went. What a beautiful sight! As the water danced in various colors, the music played. It was amazing, gorgeous, and every other adjective you could think of!

So today, when I should be cleaning house or stacking the firewood, I just had to take the time to do the journaling to finish our page and post it here for all to see. We must have taken well over 50 photos each of the fountain, so this is just a small representation of splendor.

Enjoy!

October Club Artwork

I can't believe it's November 1st already!! Where did October go? Have you ever noticed that the time between Halloween and Christmas goes by in a blur!!

Speaking of Christmas! For October's Stamp a Stack club we used the Jingle Creative Basics and some of the Jingle My Reflections Level 2 paper pack to create these cute cards.

Our Cherish Club used the new Twitterpated My Reflections Level 2 paper pack.

And, for the Imagine Club, we used the retiring Rough & Tumble My Reflections Level 2 papers. I have a bunch of pictures of our grandson and my husband riding on all of the different John Deere tractors that we have, so I'll be using the pages with the Clover Meadow and Sunny Yellow to scrap those photos. We always joke that our grandson doesn't need to go to an amusement park as he has all the rides here. LOL!!
